Role Overview
To assist with the delivery of landscape construction projects, working safely and efficiently as part of a team. They will assist skilled landscapers in carrying out soft and hard landscaping activities such as planting, paving and soil preparation.
Key Responsibilities
Loading and unloading materials
Assisting with paving, edging and fencing installation
Topsoil preparation and grading
Planting, turfing and seeding
Operating hand tools safely
Maintaining clean and safe work areas
Assisting plant operators and skilled landscapers
Health & Safety Responsibilities
Work in accordance with company Health & Safety policies. Follow company RAMS, PPE requirements and environmental procedures.
Essential Requirements
Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn. Be reliable and punctual. Must be physically fit and capable of outdoor work. Ability to work as part of a team. Right to work in the UK. Valid green CSCS Labourers card (ROLO). Full UK Driving License.

Position: Skilled Landscaper
Reports To: Site Supervisor
Location: Various sites across the South of England, Main office located in Basingstoke.
Employment Type: Full-Time Permanent (subject to probation)
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience and qualifications
[PAYE: Salary £32,000 to £40,000. Up to £45,000 with full competency CPCS or NPORS for forward tipping dumpers, excavators, chippers, chainsaw, tracked dumpers]
[CIS: £180-£220 per day, additional £20-£50 per day for plant operators]

Essential Requirements
Minimum 3 years’ landscape construction experience, with a strong understanding of soft and hard landscaping practices. Valid CSCS/LISS skilled worker’s card with NVQ level 2 in landscape construction or other relevant industry qualification. Ability to read technical drawings. Physically fit and capable of outdoor work. Ability to work in a team and good communication skills. Right to work in the UK. Full UK driving license.
Desirable Qualifications
CPCS/NPORS plant tickets for forward tipping dumpers, excavators, chippers, chainsaws, tracked dumpers. First Aid at work certificate. CAT & Genny training.

Role Overview
The Lead Landscaper is responsible for leading a team of skilled landscape operatives and Labourers to deliver projects safely, efficiently and to high standard. They will be responsible for completing quality assurance documentation, ensuring health and safety standards are maintained, and managing project progress equipment, and materials.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and direct labour on site and guide them in undertaking:
Paving installation
Kerb and edging installation
Timber works including fencing and sleeper walls
Drainage installation
Tree and shrub planting
Turfing and seeding
Topsoil preparation
Setting out works from drawings
Operating small pant and tools
Operating plant equipment
Plant care
Train and mentor junior operatives
Plan daily workload and travel efficiently.
Undertake quality control inspections and record keeping.
Manage materials and equipment on site
Liaise professionally with client representatives on site
Undertake vehicle and equipment checks
Ensure Safe systems of work are followed by operatives on site.
Assist project managers with programming and methodology
Health, Safety & Environmental Responsibilities
Work in accordance with company Health & Safety policies, Implement Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS), carry out equipment and plant inspections, assist with incident reporting and implement environmental controls. Promote safe working practices and environmental protection.
Essential Requirements
Minimum 6 years’ experience in Landscape Construction, with full understanding of both soft and hard landscaping best practices. Valid CSCS/LISS Skilled worker’s card with NVQ level 3 in landscape construction or related industry qualification. Ability to supervise work safely, effectively and efficiently. Strong leadership ability and communication skills. Strong ability to read technical drawings. Full UK driving license. Right to work in the UK.
Desirable Qualifications
Gold Supervisors CSCS, First Aid at work, SSSTS/SMSTS, CPCS/NPORS for Forward tipping dumper and Excavators below 10T, CAT & Genny training and other industry qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

Role Overview
The Senior maintenance landscaper will lead small teams to maintain client grounds to a high standard, travelling between sites, communicating professionally with clients and completing accurate daily work reports. The senior maintenance landscaper has additional responsibilities of supervising other maintenance landscapers, herbicide spraying, and have specialist horticultural expertise.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and undertake grounds maintenance visits
Train and mentor junior operatives
Plan daily workload and travel efficiently.
Grass cutting, hedge cutting, pruning and strimming
Lawn care, seasonal treatments, and plant husbandry.

Plant & Equipment
Competent operation of pedestrian and ride-on mowers, strimmers, brush cutters, hedge cutters, blowers, pole saws and hand tools, battery and petrol-powered tools, small plant (advantageous). Competent in use of handheld pesticide applications.
Health, Safety & Environmental Responsibilities
Work in accordance with company Health & Safety policies. Follow company RAMS, PPE requirements and environmental procedures. Undertake daily equipment inspections. Report hazards, incidents and near misses. Promote safe working practices and environmental protection.
Essential Requirements
Minimum 4 years' grounds maintenance experience. Ability to work independently and supervise others in small teams. Strong knowledge of plant identification, pruning and lawn care knowledge. Excellent time management and communication skills. PA1/PA6A handheld pesticide application qualifications. Competent using a wide range of maintenance machinery. Ability to complete accurate digital reports. Full UK driving license and willingness to travel throughout the South of England.
Desirable Qualifications
CSCS Card, First Aid at work training, Lantra/NPTC qualifications for safe use in ride-on mowers, hedge cutters and brush cutters. CPCS/NPORS Mini excavator and dumper (Advantageous). NPTC Chainsaw qualification (Advantageous).
